Delta’s first and only public library was dedicated on the evening of May 20, 1912, after more than a decade of planning and fundraising by the people of Delta. It is truly a rare and unique piece of history. The building has seen several remodels and additions over the years, helping it to expand and keep up with demand as the city has expanded, serving literally hundreds of thousands of people every decade.

For over 100 years, the people of Delta have made the choice to preserve the historic value of the building and invest in their future by investing in the library.

If you would like to be a part of preserving this historical library for future generations, please support the Delta Carnegie Library.
