Imagine that you are walking with a child along a path that borders a beautiful lake. Birds fly overhead and a gentle breeze sways the branches of a nearby tree. Crunching footsteps are the only sound you hear as you anticipate what happens next in the story. Finally, there it is, growing closer with every footstep; the next page, mounted on a panel just high enough for curious eyes to see. In this way, a StoryWalk® book unfolds as the reader embarks on a journey down the trail, moving from page to page, from beginning to end.  Delta County Libraries offers four StoryWalks® in Delta County and you are invited to visit every one!
