Winter Speaker Series: Bat Conservation

We are excited to share that we are teaming up with The Learning Council and Western Slope Conservation Center this winter for a speaker series! The series will feature three speakers on a variety of environmental topics, and is free and open to the public.

Emily Latta, BLM Wildlife Biologist, will talk about why and how BLM monitors bats, what the preliminary results are of these monitoring efforts, and conservation threats to bats. February 3 from 6:00 to 7:15pm, online via Zoom.
Emily Latta is a Wildlife Biologist with Bureau of Land Management Uncompahgre Field Office in Montrose, Colorado.
