The Write Month: Kathy Sparacino

November 9, 2022 @ 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm MST

Local author Kathy Sparacino will discuss and sign copies of her books Where Columbines Grow and Where Horses Run Free at Hotchkiss Library on Wednesday, November 9 at 4pm.

Besides being a published author, Katherine worked for the National Environmental Policy Act of the EPA. This program was valuable in protecting wetlands and wildlife on Native American Reservations, and throughout Colorado. This inspired her to write about protecting indigenous people. Her first book, Where Columbines Grow was published in 2021.

This is a featured event of The Write Month, a month-long celebration of literary creativity with events across the county. The Write Month is presented by the Literary Committee of the Blue Sage Center for the Arts, which includes and collaborates with Delta County Libraries and The Paradise Theatre. Contact the Hotchkiss Library at 970.399.7781 for more information.

This event will also be featured at Paonia Library on November 10 at 5pm, Cedaredge Library on November 15 at 11am, and Delta Library on November 19 at 11am.
