Sweitzer Lake StoryWalk®

September 4

|Recurring Event (See all)

An event every day that begins at 12:00 am, repeating until November 1, 2021

Young kids read a Story Walk

The September-October story at Sweitzer Lake State Park is There was an Old Lady Who Swallowed Some Leaves by Lucille Colando.

Our favorite old lady is back and swallowing autumn items!  What can you make from leaves, clothes, a pumpkin, and rope?  That’s right, a scarecrow!  Perfect for back-to-school time.

Find out how the story goes on the Sweitzer Lake Trail, then visit the library for a free take-home activity kit!

Let us know that you enjoyed the book by completing a survey and sharing a photo from your walk on social media with the hashtags #DeltaCountyLibraries #StoryWalk.
