A Colorado native and territorial daughter, Jane and her husband made their home in Paonia in 2005. A love of light and color led her to the medium of painting; a passion that continues today. A long-time artist, Jane is both a studio and on location painter, working in oil, acrylic, watercolor, and pen and ink. She indulges her love of large, brilliant flowers at every opportunity, taking advantage of the beauty and awe-inspiring landscapes of her home state. The charms of New Mexico have also called to her.
Jane’s work has been shown in the Denver area, in Estes Park, Boulder, Canon City, Paonia, and Nebraska. Most, but not all, of her artwork is for sale.
The art exhibit is on display at the Paonia Library now through January 2024 during library hours.
