Children are invited to the libraries in June to pick up a Friendship Charm Activity Kit! The kits include instructions and supplies to make two beaded charms; one to keep and one to give to a special friend or family member! Kits are available while supplies last during library hours in June and are featured as part of the 2023 Summer Reading Program “All Together Now.”
The Pre-K kits come in a colorful, reusable tote bag and include 2 lacing cords, 4 wooden lacing beads, 2 clasps, 1 lacing needle, 2 small gift bags, postcards, coloring sheets, and a memory game!
The K-5 kits come in a colorful, drawstring backpack and include 1 spool of beading cord, 20 assorted beads, 2 carabiners, 2 small gift bags, Mab Libs, coloring sheets, and a crossword puzzle!
