Book Talk with Dorothea Deley
September 8 @ 4:30 pm - 5:30 pm MDT
You are invited to the Paonia Library to listen to Dorothea Deley talk about her book “Saying Goodbye to Your Dear Dog: 10 Questions to Help You Decide When it’s Time to Euthanize” on Wednesday, September 8 at 4:30pm.
Do dogs really give a sign they’re ready to go? How do you know if your dog is suffering? When is the “right” time to euthanize? Dorothea (Thea) Deley struggled with these questions when her dear dog Kali got sick. She decided no dog parent should have to face this alone, so she wrote a guidebook just for you. In “Saying Goodbye to Your Dear Dog: 10 Questions to Help You Decide When It’s Time to Euthanize,” she shows you the signs to look for in your dog, questions to ask your vet, and how to listen to your own heart so you can make your decision with love and clarity.
Though a difficult topic, Dorothea describes herself as a fun, engaging speaker and enjoys involving the audience in her presentations. A former resident of the North Fork Valley, Dorothea includes in her book several stories from locals.
**Due to COVID19 capacity restrictions, space is limited. We are only able to accommodate 25 attendees at this time. If you are interested in attending, please visit the Paonia Library to reserve your spot.**
