General Updates

• The Delta Library is moving to a new building located at 124 E 6th Street in downtown Delta! Library staff members and volunteers have been busy packing and moving library materials and furniture to the new building.
• We anticipate opening the new library by mid-July after the delivery and installation of shelving.
• During the closure, we encourage our Delta Library patrons to visit the Cedaredge Library and the online library.
• Delta is no longer a pickup location for holds. We encourage Delta patrons to use Cedaredge Library as a pick up location for holds during the move.
• Cedaredge Library has expanded hours to accommodate additional use.
• Cedaredge Library is open Tue-Fri 10am-6pm and Sat 10am-4pm.

Programming Updates

• Regular programming at Delta Library is either temporarily postponed or being held at alternate locations during the move.
• Delta Storytime will not meet May-July.
• Cedaredge Library is hosting Storytime every Wednesday at 10:30am.
• The Delta Library book club is meeting at Doghouse Espresso.
• The Bereavement Book Club is meeting at HopeWest. There is also a virtual option.
• The Scrabble group is meeting at Cedaredge Library.
• Stay tuned for updates on the summer session of English Language Learning classes.
• High School Equivalency classes will not meet in May. Stay tuned for updates on when classes will resume.
• Starting Saturday, May 20, patrons are invited to visit a booth outside of the new Delta Library Tuesday through Saturday between 10:00am and 12:00pm to sign up for the summer reading program.
• The kick-off to the Summer Reading Program is a comedy, juggling, and magic show at the Delta Lions Club Pavilion on Wednesday, June 7 at 4:00pm.
• Programs will be offered at the new Delta Library starting in July.
